We have a vacancy for a Linguist! For 30.4-38 hours per week, you will do scientific research in the field of the Frisian language and lexicography and lexicology. You will also write articles for Frisian dictionaries and maintain, expand and edit digital databases and Frysker.

We are looking for someone with a master's degree in linguistics and literature, linguistics, or other relevant university studies with an emphasis on linguistics. You speak Frisian (since childhood) and have an excellent command of it in writing. You have a keen eye for detail, for differences between Frisian and Dutch and for changes in Frisian language. You can work well in a team and have ideas about what Frisian language products should look like in the future.
